Question:

Will small businesses need to upgrade to handle new high tech credit, debit cards?

Answer:

Over the next two years as these new cards become more prevalent, small businesses will need to upgrade their ability to take in payment charges.  The key question will center on who will pay for the upgraded equipment?  When considering changes in their payment system suppliers, small business leaders need to take this trend into consideration.

Question:

What is one way of maintaining sales force efficiency?

Answer:

"Sales teams are often forced to spend time on non-sales tasks, for example making accounts receivable collections, managing product recalls, or filling out reports that do not directly relate to the sales process. Non-sales management often requests that reps perform these tasks, but great care should be taken before delegating them to valuable salespeople,” John R. Treace is the author of the new book, Nuts & Bolts of Sales Management: How to Build a High-Velocity Sales Organization.
